Kriner's Diner

Love love love this place. The food is excellent, quick service, and accommodating to dietary preferences. I’m on the carnivore diet and the waitress substituted the salad that came with my meal for bacon at no charge! Amazing. And compared to other restaurants in the area, the price wasn’t too bad for the amount of food you get imo. I’ll be back!

I love this place and support it as local small business! Great food and great people! I appreciate all they do and stand for! You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu and always leave full! I have been here more often for breakfast as that is what I tend to do when I go out to eat here. Is it my favorite on their menu? I could lean towards that but again that’s just because of the time of day I tend to go. You will too be satisfied no matter what meal I will say! America’s Diner!

Great burgers and comfort food. Scratch made sauces, dressings and gravies. Big fan of Andy’s Awesome burger with side of tots and brown gravy for dipping tots. Mom’s turkey and stuffing is another crowd pleaser. Highly recommended. Big portions, bring an appetite. RIP Andy!

This diner is the epitome of the American dream. This family owned and operated business does not disappoint and is the fulfillment of a life-long dream for the owner. The food is plentiful and cooked just right. We had an outstanding breakfast and would definitely recommend this diner. My favorite thing outside of the service and food is the family atmosphere (they place a lot of importance on family) along with the strong faith in our living God.

Best breakfast we've eaten in Alaska! I'm leading a photography team across Alaska doing photos and video for production. We've tried many breakfast locations and this was by far the best place we've eaten at breakfast. Do yourself a favor of your looking fur breakfast... This is your place! Highly recommended!

Perfect breakfast spot. I heard a customer called by their first name, which I really enjoyed making it feel like this is a great locals spot. My breakfast was good, leftovers were just as good the next day. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. I felt the price was reasonable for the portion. The staff made us feel so at home, that I would definitely come to this place again and again. They definitely know what customer service is about. Come support a local business.

Excellent food with BIG portions and surprisingly affordable. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Feels like you are home for the holidays here. Getting fed big home cooked meals with a welcoming atmosphere.

What a coincidence! I moved to AK in 2010, the same year it opened, and I remember coming here thinking it was an already established business. I enjoy going to Kriner's Diner for breakfast. The service has always been excellent, and they have coffee served at the right temperature to enjoy immediately. I also love reading all their signs, and time flies when reading all the Alaska information in the newspaper-style menu. The food has been a 95% hit, with a few misses over the last decade. So, I'd say I'm a customer satisfied well above the 75% they claim to aim for, ha! If you're a tourist or new to Anchorage, I highly recommend this place.
